STEVEN FRIEDLANDER

Executive Vice President, Theatrical Distribution
Steven Friedlander serves as Executive Vice President, Theatrical Distribution, CBS Films. In this position, Friedlander oversees the domestic theatrical distribution for the studio’s films, and reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Amy Baer.
Friedlander segued to CBS Films from Warner Independent Pictures (WIP), where he served as Executive Vice President of Distribution. At WIP, he shepherded distribution plans for titles such as "March of the Penguins" and "Good Night, and Good Luck."

Before joining WIP, Friedlander served as Executive Vice President at Fine Line Features, where he spearheaded theatrical distribution, starting in 1996. From 1989 to 1996, he held various distribution positions at New Line Cinema including Senior Vice President, Division Manager.
