CBS Films announced today that it has secured exclusive rights to Trevor Shane’s thrilling debut novel CHILDREN OF PARANOIA. Published by Dutton, the book is being adapted for the screen by Mark Verheiden (TV’s Falling Skies, Battlestar Galactica). Academy Award©-winner Akiva Goldsman is attached to produce via his Weed Road banner. The first in a trilogy, CHILDREN OF PARANOIA follows a young assassin caught up in a global clandestine war that's been raging for centuries. Everything changes when he falls in love with a woman who calls into question the world as he knows it. As he desperately fights to uncover the elusive truth behind the conflict, he begins to wonder which side he's really on – good or evil.
